Tenth Hole

Par 4

  • Champ Blue 320
  • Men’s White 294
  • Senior’s Gold 281
  • Ladies’ Red 230

Ten is a short but tricky little par four. The dogleg left provides ample opportunity for birdies, but collects its share of higher scores as well. The green is shallow, so there is little variance between front, middle, and back pin positioning.

PRO”S TIP:

The distance and position of your tee shot mean everything here. My feeling is that you must draw a driver or you risk going through the fairway and into the bunker. A three-wood must be from center to right-center of the fairway. If you go right with a three-wood you will find water, and left may not get you past the corner. If you choose a long-iron, you must place it down the right side and just short of the water. You have choices, so decide which best suits your game.
