The par five ninth brings you back to the clubhouse with a smile. With the wind behind, it is possible to get home in two. The distance to the pin can be shortened by a well-placed drive down the extreme right side of the fairway, and a subsequent well-struck fairway metal will be free to bounce and roll on to the putting surface.

PRO”S TIP:

If you can’t reach the green in two, get as close as you can, unless the pin is tucked behind the right or left front bunkers. In this case you will need to lay back to a full-swing yardage in order to get some backspin on the ball.
